Mr. Nadim Eqbul has over 18 years of experience in power and shipbuilding sector. Especially more than 14 years of experience at power sector. Presently he is working as Lender’s Independent Engineers at 450 MW Meghnaghat Power Limited. He served as Business Development Manager at O&M Solutions Bangladesh Ltd., Dhaka, Bangladesh, a Subsidiary of O&M Solutions, Mauritius. During this period Mr. Nadim has performed as Owner’s Engineer (OE) in 108 HFO fired Power Plant Project, Independent Engineer (IE) as lenders’ Technical Consultant, Monitoring IM, IA, Review &Development of Financial Model, Environmental Study, Field Study, Report preparation & Submission to DOE, Clarification & Presentations from DOE, O&M supervision, Budget preparing etc.
Mr. Nadim has worked with large number of IPPs project as Independent Engineer for Lenders in Bangladesh. Mr. Nadim already served as Independent Engineer (IE) as lenders’ Technical Consultant of 108 MW Energy Pac Confidence Power Venture (ECPV), 108 MW Regent Energy and Power Limited (REPL), 46.93 RZ Power Limited (RZPL).
Major activities of Independent Engineer (IE) service will cover introduction of the project, project overview, and review of the agreements of the project like Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Implementation Agreement (IA), Land Lease Agreement (LLA), Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Contract, review of EPC progress reports, status of the project execution and punch lists, testing and commissioning, operation and maintenance of the plant, quality assurance and quality control of works carried out at the project, environmental, health and safety of the project during construction and operation phase, review of the project cost and budget, major risk and mitigation measures, project approvals and clearances from the governmental authorities, and finally conclusion and recommendations.
He served as Coordinator of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of 50 MW HFO fired engine based power plant Northern Power Solution Limited at Katakhali, Rajshahi.
Mr. Nadim also worked as Deputy Manager, Maintenance at Sinha Power Generation Company Limited. During this period Mr. Nadim served as Coordinator of heavy equipment transportation and supervision of electro-mechanical construction activities of Amnura 50 MW HFO Fired Project at ChapieNobabgonj, Rajshahi.
Mr. Nadim workedas Assistant Manager (Technical) at GBB Power Limited. He served as Project Coordinator ofBogra 24 MW Gas Fired Power Plant at Bogra. He also worked as Senior Engineer (O&M) at Bangla Trac Limited. Bangla Trac Limited is the dealer of Caterpillar Gas Gen-set, Diesel Gen-set and other Caterpillar brands equipment s in Bangladesh. During this period,He served operation and maintenance services, troubleshooting, route-cause analysis etc. in different reputed captive power plant in Bangladesh. He has worked with Greenland Engineers & Tractor Company Ltd (GETCO) and during this period and served as plant Engineer of a Trunkey Project of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) at Bhola.
Mr. Nadim has served as Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector for 150 MW HFO Fired Barge Mounted Power Plant which was made by Wartsila Finland at Singapore under Jurong Shipyard Limited. He has been worked in shipbuilding construction like process ship, Rig ship, cargo ship, container vessel, oil tankers, Asian cable laying ship etc. at Keppel Fells Shipyard in Singapore.
Mr. Nadim also has experience on heavy equipment transportation, loading-unloading for different types of power plant equipment.
